Operation TLC

What is Operation TLC?

At TLC, we believe everyone deserves better vision. We’ve partnered with the Pujols Family Foundation1 to bring access to healthy eye care to the Dominican Republic in 2015. We call this Operation TLC.

In January 2015, 10 eye doctors and 10 TLC support staff chosen from hundreds of applicants across TLC's network in the United States and Canada will join the Pujols Family Foundation to distribute eyeglasses, perform eye exams, and diagnose and treat eye diseases for over 5,000 impoverished patients in the Dominican Republic..

"We get to change people's lives every day by providing the highest quality LASIK available," said TLC CEO Ben Cook. "This trip will enable us to make an even greater difference for people who need it the most. We believe sight is precious, and that clear vision enhances life. We're proud to help the Pujols Family Foundation fulfill its mission to improve the standard of living and quality of life for impoverished people in the Dominican Republic."
